The Rotaract Club of Madras Cosmos organised a Club Service - Ennapa Povoma on 22nd September 2023 at Daalchini in Ekkatuthangal around 1 o'clock in the afternoon.

The purpose of this event was to provide a moment of respite and camaraderie for our club members. We gathered at Daalchini for a small feast, allowing us to enjoy a delightful meal and refreshments together. It was an opportunity to take a break from our busy work lives. The event was filled with good food and great fun, creating lasting memories and strengthening the bonds within our club. Our members thoroughly enjoyed this moment of relaxation and had a wonderful time at Daalchini.

EVENT DESCRIPTION:

Rotaract Club of Madras Cosmos  conducted a Club Service Program, “Crossovers” on 18th September 2023 at Tackle Futsal-Turf 2, Rohini Theatre.

The primary goal of this Club Service Program was to manage the logistical aspects that contribute to the smooth functioning of our club and the success of our club meetings. To begin, participants were guided through a warm-up routine to prepare for the game. Subsequently, they received instruction on the rules and procedures before being divided into two teams. The bowling and fielding sides were determined by a coin toss. This session not only allowed our members to unwind and foster coordination but also offered them an enjoyable experience. It provided an opportunity for our members to showcase their professionalism and enthusiasm. In conclusion, it was an outstanding opportunity for members to enjoy the game of cricket in a field setting.

The Rotaract Club of Madras Cosmos organised the ‘12 Installation Session of the Rotaract Club of Madras Cosmos’ on 26 th, August 2023 in Nahar Hall with the presence of Rtn. Shrinivasan, President 23-24 - Rotary club of Madras Cosmos, Rtn. Dhanraj Neelakandan, District Rotaract committee chairman 23-24, Rtr. PP. Essaki Sekar, District Rotaract Representative 23-24 m, Rtr. PP. Sanjana Varma, District Rotaract Representative Elect 23-24, Rtr. Vishal Gopinath, Group Rotaract Representative, Rotaract Group-2.

The welcome address was delivered by Rtr. IPP Vignesh, Rotaract club of Madras Cosmos For the year 2021–2022. Followed by that Introduced the Incoming President, Rtr. Vishnu Priyan, Rotaract Club of Madras Cosmos to the gathering. With the presence of all the dignitaries, Rtr. Mubashir, Chief Secretary-At-Arms collared the Incoming President, Rtr. Vishnu Priyan, and after that the Acceptance speech was delivered by Rtr. Vishnu Priyan, the Incoming President of the Rotaract Club of Madras Cosmos, and the Secretaryship was transferred by Rtr. Mubashir, by exchanging the Club Charter with Rtr. PP. Sowmiya, Incoming Secretary, Rotaract club of Madras Cosmos.

The Chief Guests for the session badged for all the New Incoming Officials. Followed by that, the Club Letterhead and the Club Standee was launched by the chief guests.

Finally, The program came to an end at 6.30 p.m with the gathering raising for the National anthem, and Rtr. Vishnu Priyan, President adjourned the 12th Installation Session of the Rotaract Club of Madras Cosmos.

Board members came to know about their duties and in between quick quiz were conducted. He enlightened the event by his knowledge, he explained the history of Rotary, Rotaract, gave some project ideas. 

The members came to know about great persons who developed because of Rotaract. It was an informative session.

Life in streets is a real struggle, especially for Stray Dogs.

They don't know what next day will bring to them; a full stomach or an empty one.

We raised funds to feed Stray Dogs by conducting an Online tournament "LUDO: Toss for a Cause" on 7th June, 2020 and we have successfully completed our First Phase of Feeding Campaign by feeding 200+ stray dogs in and around Ambattur, Pattaravakkam, Puliyanthope & Kodambakkam.

GRAY AWARDS

We the Rotaract club of Remo had conducted the online event. This event was about Talent contest plus Awards for those rotaractors who strived throughout the year for the club. This award will encourage them to go forward for the future year to the more courage. More than 70 Rotaractors Participated in competition and 17 Rotaractors had received the awards for the year '19-'20.

This movement had been initiated by our president, it will be continued in upcoming years.

Our journey had started from "Counting steps" to the mount, now we are finally looking backward our achievements and projects of this year.
